The escalator is found inside a train station.
When nobody is using the escalator, it does not run. Once a person steps to the entrance, the escalator detects the weight of the individual, begins to work and bring the person to the upper level of the station. The escalator stops again when nobody else is using it within about 2-minutes.
Red and green lights are installed to indicate the running direction of the escalator. It runs from the side where green light is on to the red-light side.
