Today, Gerry and I presented our Duck Calling Station that we’ve worked on for the past day. Here is the process of our non-human design project:
The first lesson I tried to master was understanding switches in Arduino and how they relate to the circuit and being open/closed. This first exercise above has two switches. Since the switches are both connected together to the circuit, it is required to have both of them pressed down to light up the LED.
The picture below is the completed circuit with a Piezo output that makes a certain ring. In addtion, the structure itself is made of cardboard. It is approximately 3 feet high, allowing small children to press the button but it also ensures the adults can be free to go up to the switch and press it with ease.
